Amílcar Cárcamo is an investigative journalist and freelance photographer based in Honduras. He is a member of the LGBTQ+ population and a defender of human rights. He works with Reportar Sin Miedo, a digital media outlet that covers news about migrants, women's rights and LGBTQ +. Graduated from UNAH with a cum laude degree in Journalism, he has worked as a multimedia journalist for Diario La Prensa and as a communicator for projects of the United States Development Agency (USAID) along with FUNADEH. His goal is to tell real stories about the injustices against human rights in Honduras and the world. He is interested not only in sharing information about the problem but in making changes in society.
